    The Sykesville Little Theatre (a community Theater)

    The Sykesville Little Theatre is the only Community Theater in Maryland that pays all performers and crew for participation in the project. Payment is in the form of an honorarium at the conclusion of the run.

    Auditions on April 5-6<sup>th</sup>, 7pm.

    Rehearsals begin: Early June.  Performances: August 8-13, 2017

    Synopsis: This is Stephen Karam’s piercingly funny, and bruisingly sad comedy-drama about an ordinary American family teetering on the edge of the abyss. Breaking with tradition, the father Erik Blake has brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate Thanksgiving at his youngest daughter’s meager apartment in New York City’s Chinatown. As darkness falls outside the ramshackle pre-war duplex, eerie things start to go bump in the night and the heart and horrors of the Blake family are exposed….one by one.
